Write briefly about DSKC6416, it’s components and specifications.
ANSWER:
The TMS320C6416 DSP starter kit (DSK) developed jointly with spectrum digital is a low cost development platform
designed to speed the development of high performance applications based on Tl’s TMS320C6416x DSP generation
.The kit uses USB communications for true plug-and-play functionally. The C6416 DSK tools include the latest fast
simulators from Tl and access to the analysis Toolkit via update advisor which features the cache analysis tool and
multi event profiler.

Task 2:
Write down the steps to perform the diagnostic test on DSKC6416.
ANSWER:
Steps:
 Plug in the Power cod to turn on the DSP kit
 Plug in the USB cable to the PC/laptop and the USB port is given in DSP kit
 Make sure that you have DSK Diagnostic tool in your PC/LAPTOP. If so, execute the DSK
Diagnostic tool
 Press the start button located at the right of dialogue box of DSK Diagnostic tool
 The overall Diagnostic test will begin and one by one it will test the equipment on board. The green
flash indicates that the equipment is working properly.
 The Diagnostic results will confirm whether the board is working properly or not.
