Assignment #2: Linear Programming: Computer Solution

1. What are the advantages of using Excel in solving linear programming? What is the
disadvantage?
The advantage of using Excel is that it makes your computation easier. Because of its
features and build-in formulas it makes your data organize and the formulation of it is easily
understand. The disadvantage of it is that Excel is only accessible for those who have personal
computer or laptops, and the subscription of Microsoft is costly. And also, sometimes the use of
Excel is complicated especially when you have a limited knowledge using it.

2. Solve using the graphical solution the compare your answer using a computer solution.
Show your graph with the feasible region and coordinates of the vertices and the solver (excel)
output.
