As a human being we all has that goals and plans in life. We sometimes refer to
it as a project to be accomplished that we usually want the outcome to be perfect or that
meets the standard of requirements we have set. With that, Project Management comes
up.
As define in the learning package, Project Management is what everyone needed
to make a project happen on time and within budget to deliver the needed scope and
quality. It involves the use of skills, techniques, tools and knowledge. Project
management approach plays a greater role in the business world where there are
constant projects. This helps those project managers in different industries in handling
complex, costly and risky assignments. Making sure that the project gets from start to
finish. Simply fulfilling requirements being outlined in the project and utilizing employees
efficiently like the proper delegation of duties. So that if there arises a problems it can
be easily be resolved and expenses can be reduced.
On the other hand, there’s a lot of misconception about Project Management.
Oftenly, we do projects for our own benefit, for our advantage that we tend to close
doors about feedbacks and comments of our colleagues or even to our teams because
we believe we can make it on our own. Our team is the best asset we had to make the
project successful but we sometimes see them as a problem to be solved. We treat
them and manage them the same way we do a project. We failed to differentiate what
we need personally and what the project needs.
However, there is no such thing as perfect in this world, everything has it’s own
advantage and disadvantage what is important is we know how to manage things and
look for the beauty in it. By applying the right cycle and terms of Project Management
failure can be handle easily.
