Hiding Vertical Axis Labels

There isn't an on/off switch, but you can change the font color to white.

No Leaderlines?

leaderlines, just delete the corresponding value in the Leader Lines column.

it difficult to fit your events within a timeline like this. Consider using a different style of
timeline, such as a Gantt Chart.
