Greetings from Francis Xavier Engineering College Intellectual Property Rights Cell!

On behalf of our College Management, faculty team and students, It gives me immense pleasure to
welcome to you for the Inaugural address for the live Webinar on “PATENT FILING, PUBLICATIONS &
COMMERCIALISATION” on 02.06.2020 at 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm

Also, we are pleased to invite our resource persons Ms. T.Sahila, Project Scientist, PIC, TNSCST and
Dr.T.Arockiadoss, Professor and Head, Department of Physics, MKU, Madurai for sharing the expertise
and knowledge on the theme of PATENT FILING AND PUBLICATIONS and PATENT COMMERCIALISATION.

The IPR cell of Francis Xavier Engineering College is actively conducting programs and events to
outspread the importance of converting the projects into patents. To set an example, faculty team of
FXEC has filed 20 patents among this 11 patents were published. We have organized many events like
Guest lecture, Brainstorming sessions for students and faculty, National level Quiz on awareness about
IPR with huge number of participations throughout the nation.

We sure that yours graceful presence and motivational words will enlighten the young engineers and
entrepreneurs about the importance of IPR and improve the status our country in global competitions in
future.
