machines and its components and to understand the principles involved in assembling of machine

Course Overview and Context


This course is offered in Seventh semester of B.E. programme in Mechanical Engineering as a
professional elective subject.
This course emphasizes on to understand the principles, functions and practices adapted in industry for
the successful management of maintenance activities
This course explains the various steps involved in the maintenance process.
The course can be delivered by the following teaching aids- through lectures (chalk & talk, PPT).
