I have decided to create two productions, one of which is a Tv programme and the other is a
website. The reasoning for these choices is simply because I am very unexperienced in both
sectors. Therefore, I look forward to improving my skills and hopefully will help in the
future.

Tv Programme

I have decided to base my Tv programme on how Coronavirus has affected our life’s. The
reason for this idea is because without a doubt the furlough scheme etc will play a big role
in my target audiences’ life. As they are the ones who will be paying high tax to get the
economy back on track. Therefore, throughout this programme I want to investigate into
potential house prices for the future and prices rising in general. As well as asking questions
like, ‘Will the average age of young adults moving out of their family home increase?’

Through my focus group I have discovered that this idea is something which interests my
audience, but now I have to work out in which way would be the best to present this.
Therefore, in my survey I ask if my audience could take a look at 3 different productions and
from that information I will be able to take on the board the most popular approach.

Website

I have decided to base my website on the rate of mental health going up due to the
pandemic, lockdown etc. I believe this is something which will be relevant to my audience as
they are young adults, therefore going through puberty and changes in their body. Meaning
they are most likely to have mood swings and be down. If you look at the statistics a large
majority of people who suffer with metal health are also in this age bracket, so I would have
thought every reader would know at least one person who is suffering.

As I stated above, through my focus group I have already discovered that this is a topic
which would be an interest to my audience. Although, I still remain unsure of the best way
to lay out this information and keep my audience intrigued and interested. I am planning on
doing this by asking questions like ‘Are interactions a feature which will allow you to feel
more involved?’
