VENEZUELA

Venezuela is a South American country. Venezuela is


between the Atlantic Ocean, Colombia, Brazil and
Guyana. Venezuela’s area is similar to Nigeria’s area.
Approximately 50% of Venezuela’s area is
mountainous; the Andes Mountains are the most
important. Venezuela has around 1000 rivers; among
those rivers, the Orinoco River is very important.

Pay attention to the next information about Venezuela and its people:

- Venezuelan food is delectable. Pabellón Criollo and Yo-yo


are popular dishes. Pabellón Criollo has shredded beef, rice,
black beans and plantain slices and Yo-yo has two fried
plantain slices and cheese in the middle.

Unfortunately, many Venezuelan people’s economic situation


is not good. So there aren’t any refrigerators with a lot of food.
 

- Any Venezuelan person can dance very well.

- A litter of gasoline costs US$0.02 in Venezuela. In the


USA it costs US$1 and in Colombia it costs US$1.3. So
in Venezuela a litter of gasoline is cheaper than other
countries.

- Many Venezuelan people use Facebook to chat with


their friends.

- Some Venezuelan people have dollars to buy things.

- Many young Venezuelan people go to malls to watch movies with their friends
and families.

- Some Venezuelan people play volleyball to have fun.
