Resetting Service Timers

Field Action: Perform as required

What is the purpose of the service timer? The service timer is used to remind
the user that the next service interval is due. It is a warning and will not shut
down the unit.

This service tip should only be used as a guide.

Their displays on the controllers are:

Controller: QC 1001, XC 2002 Indication: ST1 (500 hour Service), ST2 (1000
hour Service)

Controller: Size 1.5 and size 2, and the new Xc3003 and Xc4003 Indication:
minor overhaul (500 hour Service), major overhaul (1000 hour Service)
Once the service is completed the service timer must be reset in the module.

 Resetting the service timers on QC 1001, and XC 2002
1. Power on controller and using up arrow key scroll to menu “parameters” and
press enter (enter button is arrow pointing left).
2. Scroll up with “up” arrow key to ST1 or ST2 whichever needs resetting and
press enter.
3. Using “up” arrow key scroll password up to “2003” and press enter.
4. Using “up” arrow key scroll up to change “no” to “yes” and press enter.
5. Cycle power to complete
 Resetting Minor and Major Overhaul Alarm
Size 1.5 Controller XAS 756
1. Switch unit on.
2. Wait 1 minute for system to boot up.
3. Press the O and the load button at the same time, hold for 5 seconds
4. Using the O and 1 buttons, O is used to scroll down, I is used to scroll up
5. Pushing the O button go to service, then push the load button.
6. Press the O button to go to service in advance menu
7. Press the load button, wait 1 sec press the load button for the second time
8. Display counter should read confirmed.
9. Wait 15 seconds then turn power switch off.
10. You are done.
Size 2 Controllers

1. Pressure gauge.
2. Fuel level gauge.
3. Power ON/OFF switch.
4. Start button.
5. Stop button.
6. F1 Function button.
7. F2 Function button.
8. Arrow Up button.
9. Arrow Down button.
10.Display (4 rows, 40 characters /
row).
 Size 2.0 Controller
1. Switch unit on.
2. Wait 1 minute for system to boot up.
3. Press F1 for info
4. Press F1 for options
5. Arrow down to service, press F1 to select
6. Arrow down to service in advance, press F1 to select
7. Arrow down to next service task, press F1 to select.
8. Press F1 to reset task.
9. Arrow down to exit, press F1 to exit
10. 10. You are done
