“Driving for change” in your local community
India is a diverse geography and there are issues of local importance
which might go unnoticed at a national level. For an inclusive
growth, it is important that there is ample focus on solving the
issues at micro level.

Samsung believes that the young generation are the frontrunners


pushing for change. We encourage students to identify local cause
and develop innovative solutions, hence initiating a step towards
“driving for change”.

Guidelines
Stage 1 – Local cause identification
• Rationale for choosing the issue and its magnitude of impact at the local level
• Alignment with the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs)

Stage 2 – Detailed Plan & Approach


• Detailed plan with solution approach and financials
• Roadmap for future to address the cause, any local partnerships to be looked into
• Communication plan to increase awareness about the cause

Stage 3 – Final Presentation


• Panel presentation covering cause identification, approach and detailed solution
• A short video covering participant’s groundwork and journey during the course of the
study is recommended to be a part of the final presentation
