) Simethicone is a combination of fully methylated siloxane polymers, that is stabilized with


trimethylsiloxy end-blocking units, and silicon dioxide, or commonly known as silica gel. It is
composed of 90.5-99.0% polydimethylsiloxane, and 4.0-7.0% silicon dioxide. It is a viscous
liquid, that is insoluble in water and alcohol.
