Coaching assists employees in getting from where they are now, to where they want to be

with their performance Coaching is for anyone who wants to be performing at a higher level
than they currently are, IT is about performing at your best through the individual and private
assistance of someone who will challenge, stimulate and guide you to keep growing.
There are 5 steps of coaching 1) Identify the goals and the objectives 2) Assessing current
level of performance 3) Performance improvement plan 4) Personal action plan 5) Execute
and follow-up
Mentoring is the development process which involves guiding, instructing, modelling,
evaluating, and providing corrective actions
Collective intelligence is a sociological concept that describes how a group intellect begins to
form when people work together. By interacting and even competing with one another, the
group shares information and collectively solves problems, giving them a greater chance to
find answers than they would have on their own eg are Wikipedia and politics
