Work Experience/Employment -

In May 2019 during the fasting period I volunteered for a charity by going
door to door and selling cupcakes to collect and raise money for the charity
which provides food boxes, shelter and wells for fresh clean water. From this
experience I have learnt how to verbally communicate and interact with other
people and really thoroughly explain what the charity is about.

Also at college we have worked with a company called First Give that allowed
us to work in a team to win £1000 to give to our chosen charity which was the
Samaritans. During this time I learned a lot of new skills like being able to
work in a team,to reach our objectives and also to be able to communicate
with the members of the charity and ask them questions about charity. As well
as that working with this charity helped me be more confident in myself and it
also helped me improve my communication skills also it made me realise how
important it is to be able to work in a team and work together to get things
done and achieve our goals.
