Speech about Malala

People are considered as complex creatures that have existed on earth. It is because they have

unique characters that are different from one another despite having similar features. It is

because of this reason. The whole world is full of conflicts, confusion and war; the series of such

events keep on occurring. The good thing is that despite all chaos and war that is happening,

there is a solution that will guide people in the right direction. Wondering and asking myself

many queries. Who will rescue us from the evils in our society? As it has been said after many

years, God brings someone to save his people. People believe that the one who has been send is

Malala to deliver us.

First of all, others would like to give a history of Malala and why others like her. On 12th

July 1997, Malala was born and raised in Pakistan. Pakistan is a country affected by militia

group Taliban, linked with terrorist activities like bombing (Rashid). She was named Malala

after Afghanistan poet meaning “grief-stricken”. Malala with other schoolgirls were captured in

2012 as they were getting home from school by the militia group Taliban (Finguerut, and

Demant). Unluckily, Malala was shot head after confronting Taliban Militias. They wanted to

take control of their town, while Malala wanted the Taliban to leave her and other girls to go to

school. After being in a coma and undergoing surgery (Meier), Malala recovered, and now she is

in the forefront advocating for girls schooling.

her win the Nobel Peace Prize 2014, a world most prestigious award and besides making history

as a younger female being given the award (Castelvecchi). She was also awarded the United

Nations Human Right price; she was named as the most influential human being. She has come

up with developments such as the Malala Foundation than funds the developing and building of

schools and advocating of girl child education across the globe (Finguerut, and Demant). She’s

an author of a variety of books that encourage many people globally with her past experiences in

life and how she stood firm and achieved with her courage and determination.

Malala story inspires people to come up and fight for what is right for the people at large.

Because Malala disregarded all the encounters she went through, and she was able to stand firm

in her society for her other school girls to get the education to make their lives better, she has

been an inspiration to many people and more who wants to hear from her past experiences. Her

community was facing Taliban attacks, but this did not frighten her to change her mind. Still, she

stood firm for the girls in the society for them to access better education and become successful

in life. Other people rejoice Malala as the prodigious source of inspiration, and her experience

makes people think what Mahatma Gandhi believed that the best way to find yourself is to lose

yourself to serve other people. Today people should dare across the world not to remain silent on

various issues that affect our community. By doing this, the world will be a better place for us all

by knowing and standing firm on what is right for us.
