V. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

The objectives of this activity are to:

1. reconstitute and strengthen school GAD Focal Point System
(GFPS);

2. orient teaching and non-teaching personnel on stress

management and coping mechanism amidst pandemic;
3. increase the level of awareness on Gender and Development
(GAD)-related laws and mandates particularly on RA 7192:
Women in Development and Nation Building Act, RA 9710:
Magna Carta for Women and RA 8972: Solo Parents’ Welfare
Act of 2000.

These will cover the following topics:

a. Guidelines for the Creation, Strengthening and
Institutionalization of the School Gender and Development
(GAD) Focal Point System.
b. Stress Management and Coping Mechanism Amidst
Pandemic
c. Republic Act 7192: Women in Development and Nation
Building Act
d. Republic Act 9710: Magna Carta for Women
e. Republic Act 8972: Solo Parents’ Welfare Act of 2000

VI. EXPECTED OUTPUT:

At the end of these activities, teaching and non-teaching personnel

must be able to:
1. reconstitute and strengthen school GFPS;
2. demonstrate resilience and perform various stress management
techniques; and

C. RELEVANCE

The school will conduct a face-to-face seminar-workshop for two days

(July 15-16, 2022) with the aim of reconstituting strengthening GFPS,

proper insights and understanding on Gender and Development (GAD)
related Laws and Mandates.
