1. SUMMARY OF KUNG FU PANDA 3

In the film, Po enters the panda village and reunites with his birth father and other pandas,
but the problems arise when a villainous spirit warrior, named Kai, returns to the mortal realm. Po’s
first encounter, when Kai’s Jade minions attacked the valley and find out the truth of Kai’s intentions
to steal chi from the Kung Fu masters and pandas. Li promises he will teach Po how to master Chi so
he can defeat Kai. Crane and Mantis find Kai and engage him against Master Shifu’s orders. Kai
takes their chi and turns them into zombies. He then attacks the Jade Palace and takes the chi of
Shifu, Monkey and Viper.

When Po presses Li to teach him about chi, she admits he lied and has no idea how to control
chi. Po comes up with a plan to form the army of pandas by teaching them how to take advantage of
their own strengths to battle Kai’s Jade minions. After learning that the wushi finger hold Po’s best
move won’t work on Kai he decided to use his own death to take Kai with him back to the spirit
world. In the spirit world, Po figure out chi and uses it to defeat Kai. And so, Po defeated Kai and he
returns to the mortal realm and steps into his new role of teacher by instructing Shifu and others in
the mastery of chi.

2. HOW DID THE PROTAGONIST SOLVE THE PROBLEMS IN THE MOVIE?

Po forms the army of pandas to battle Kai’s jade minions and become a master of chi to
defeat Kai and save his friends. After learning that the wushi finger hold Po’s best move won’t work
on Kai he decided to use his own death to take Kai with him back to the spirit world. In the spirit
world, Po figure out chi and uses it to defeat Kai. And so, Po defeated Kai and he returns to the
mortal realm and steps into his new role of teacher by instructing Shifu and others in the mastery of
chi.

3. HOW WILL YOU USE THE LESSONS UNLOCKED BY THE PANDA IN YOUR OWN LIFE?

At a certain point in my career, I’ll be a mighty warrior learning my craft and rocking my
performance reviews. Eventually it is time to pass along my best practices and help others along their
path to excellence. It is an amazing feeling to take the step from mentee to mentor, but it takes some
bravery to make the switch. Also, reach out my comfort zone and don’t be afraid to fail. I’ll do what
is the best thing to do. I don’t have to be someone else but be my own version of myself.
