REFLECTION

Holy Week is the most important week in the church year. It is a time
when we celebrate in a special way the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
We remember His actions, reflect on His messages, and recommit to living as
His disciples in the world today.

My Holy Week this 2019 was different from my past years because this
time, I wasn’t able to celebrate it with my family as I went to Baguio in 4 days
to attend National Revival 2019 of our church every year which each one of us
will be revive not just physically but spiritually.

In our revival, we have 2 sessions wherein there are 3 pastors to preach

in whole day. The theme of the preaching was “Be fruitful and Multiply” from
the book of Genesis 1:28. We also have what we called “praise and worship”
and as well as intermission number. As it was going, I’m affected by those word
of God especially the 3 Circle which made me realize to do not focus on the
brokenness instead I should forget the past, admit that I’m a sinner, learn to
forgive, repent and focus more on Jesus Christ who saved us and accept Him
as my personal savior. In our praise and worship, I was so relaxed, relieved and
feels like I don’t have any problem at all. In that time, all I yearn for is to honor
and extol God. For me, the best part of our revival was the Altar Calling for the
reason that it was the time wherein I cried to God praying for forgives in all the
wrong doings I did and telling all the hindrances I’ve faced which I almost give
up but chose to have faith in Him and trust His plans for me. My unforgettable
moment is that I received the “speak in tongue” and filled with Holy Spirit.

I conclude that desire came from our thoughts. God wants to prone our
desire. Our mission is to preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to every
creature, share to them the new creation of life and to have a strong influence
of faith, righteousness and holiness. We need to be good stewards of what the
Lord wants, have an attitude of always willing to learn and to be taught. The
most teaching I love was everyday is our revival not only on the date planned
by our church. I must say that I’m super happy and blessed, my faith in God is
getting stronger and I am moving forward that I will be fruitful and multiply.
