How would you define

Leadership = Leadership refers to social influence process a person apply over other people
to achieve specific goals

Management = It is a process which maintaining efficiently and expertly the organizational

arrangement.

Administration = It is the organization educational bodies and it include the principals and
the senior staff.

Now read Bush (2011 p 8-9) and make a note:

 What does Cuban (1988) say is the purpose of leadership? (bottom of p 8)

Cuban emphasize the importance of the leadership It can influence others action in achieving
the target.

 How does Bush (1998) distinguishes between leadership and management? (middle of p 9)

Bush links leadership to values or purpose, and management to implementation or technical

issues.

In the UAE context, how do you think that government school principals are defined in terms of
their roles:

 by the MOE? The principal’s roles with the MOE is to ensure of the vision and mission
stated in MOE is in the academic plan are implemented.
  by teachers? The principal’s roles with the teachers are to meet the teachers, evaluate
the teachers.
 by parents? The principal’s roles are to contact them for necessary situation.
 by students? The principal’s roles are to manage the event that student can join, and
provide a safe and healthy environment for them.
