Popular Seattle Waffle Bar Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Seattle– Seattle-based waffle company, Sweet Iron Waffles, announced today that
Peter Chen has been hired as their first-ever Chief Financial Officer.

“We needed someone who brought plentiful experience as well as a fresh perspective
to the table,” said Adrien Jeffrey, co-owner of Sweet Iron Waffles. “Choosing Mr. Chen
was a no-brainer.”

Chen brings nearly 15 years of experience at companies such as Brinker International

and Tom Douglas Restaurants. A University of Washington alum and current President
of the Washington Association of Accountants, Chen’s reputation for stellar
management will undoubtedly support Sweet Iron Waffle’s expansion.

Chen’s responsibilities will be to manage the company’s finances.

“Sweet Iron Waffles is a company with contagious energy,” said Chen. “I am excited to
be a part of it.”

Sweet Iron Waffles is proud to be a Pacific Northwest favorite and will continue to
