The process of change from an agrarian and handicraft economy to one dominated by industry and machine

manufacturing. The term Industrial Revolution was first popularized by the English economic historian Arnold
Toynbee to describe Britain’s economic development from 1760 to 1840.

History of Industrial Revolution

We have been passed through 4 different Industrial Revolutions namely,

 The First Industrial Revolution (1760 to 1830)

 The Second Industrial Revolution (1870 to 1914)
 The Third Industrial Revolution (1950 to late 19th)
 The Fourth Industrial Revolution

 The First Industrial Revolution

The time period of 1760 mark the beginning of First ever Industrial
Revolution where man was able to do hand work through a
machine and use less human power. The Transformation also
include use of chemical methods, iron production processes and
most importantly invention of steam engines which completely
change the mankind of that time.

 The Second Industrial Revolution

The modernization was on its peak after the first thrust of
industrialization. The Rapid advances in the creation of steel,
chemicals and electricity helped fuel production, including mass-
produced consumer goods and weapons. It became far easier to
get around on trains, automobiles and bicycles. People’s lives
became regulated by the clock rather than the sun. Lots of
advancement in weapons, avionics, science and technology took place.
 The Third Industrial Revolution
After extreme advancement in machinery and automation in
industries via heavy machinery we shift towards the age of
computer technology where heavy and time taking calculation took
place within few seconds. The age of shifting from heavy and big
devices into very compact one not only have less volume but also become cheaper and cheaper. Beginning in
the 1950s, the third industrial revolution brought semiconductors, mainframe computing, personal
computing, and the Internet—the digital revolution. Basically the third Industrial Revolution is the key or the
back bone of the fourth one i.e conversion from mechanics to digital age.
 The Industrial Revolution 4.0
A term coined by Professor Schwab and seeks to transform a company into an intelligent organization to
achieve the best business results. Each of these first three industrial revolutions represented profound
change. We’re talking major societal transformation. Life went from being all about the farm to all about the
factory, and people moved from the country into town with the introduction of mechanical production. How
people lived and worked fundamentally changed with the discovery of electricity and mass production. And
most recently, the digital revolution altered nearly every industry, once again transforming how people live,
work, and communicate.

So where are we now? Well, at this moment, many of the technologies people dreamed of in the 1950s and
60s have become a reality. Maybe we don’t have flying cars yet, but we’ve got robots! Plus there’s genetic
sequencing and editing, artificial intelligence, miniaturized sensors, and 3D printing, to name a few. And
when you put some of these technologies together, well, let’s just say the innovations are unexpected and
surprising. This is the beginning of the next great industrial revolution: The Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Smart Factory
The first impact of Industrial Revolution 4.0 is
directly on the production of products in every
factory since the main purpose of a particular
factory is less cost and more productivity. Artificial
Intelligence is the second name of Industrial
Revolution 4.0. The whole procedure of making
products from raw material to finishing is done by
automatic machinery trained under the algorithm of Ai and Deep learning. Consider the example of Alibaba,
the industry took over by automatic robots that’s can took online orders from customer and pack the
package itself surpass the need of any human throughout the time.

Self-Driving Car
Ever think about that we can travel place to place
without even a driver. Yes, with Artificial
Intelligence and Deep Learning we can solve this
problem too. But this task is not easy as it seem to
be rather it required lots of computational power
and processing to calculate millions of task within
a micro second.

Despite extraordinary efforts from many of the leading names in tech and in automaking, fully autonomous
cars are still out of reach except in special trial programs. You can buy a car that will automatically brake for
you when it anticipates a collision, or one that helps keep you in your lane, or even a Tesla Model S whose
Autopilot mostly handles highway driving. According to Engineers it would be surprise if there will be self
driving cars within the 10 years because lots of things have to cover before its fully functioning on the roads
for the public use but remarkable work is under going for this magical product which will change the society.

Artificial Intelligence in Medical

Artificial Intelligence marks its deep feets in the domain of
medical. Now we can trace the abnormality in the patient X- ray
via Deep learning and AI. The algorithm now are trained inn
such manner that is can tell us the flow in this X ray whether he
or she has tuberculosis or other disease.

Smart Home
“Hello Alexa, turn on the light, what is the weather today………”

It is not far away that every home has its own

automation where person has control of everything
weather it a television of airconditioner. The power
consumption of his house or the online ordering of
grocery without any human interference all can be
possible via AI and Deep Learning.

Smart Stores
Amazon is currently on the concept of Smart Stores where
we don’t need of any paper money or credit card, simple
pick the item you want to buy and that’s all the bill will be
shown to your mobile phone instantly. Current locations in
operation include four in Seattle, four in Chicago, three in
San Francisco and two in Manhattan.
Facial Recognition
“For a long time, we didn’t believe in face recognition as a viable identification technology in our company. It
was too error-prone,” says Jan Lunter, CEO and CTO of Innovatrics. His company now provides very fast and
accurate face recognition algorithms, and the ability
to recognize and identify faces is one of the flagship
products. This U-turn in attitude towards face
recognition has been caused by the rapid advances in
AI. What used to look impossible just a few years back
is currently not a problem anymore. At Softecon, he
explained how AI had changed the field of biometrics
in which Innovatrics has been active for 15 years now.
