What is COVID - 19
• COVID-19 is the abbreviated
name for novel coronavirus
disease 2019, which is a
respiratory illness that spreads
from person to person.
• The coronavirus outbreak first
started in Wuhan, China in
December 2019.
• As of now, it is spread in more than
210 countries, affected more than
55 million people and killed more
than 1.5 million people

Tests for COVID - 19
• Swab Test – A special swab is used to take a
sample from nose or throat
• Nasal aspirate – A saline solution will be
injected into nose and, then a sample is
taken with a light suction
• Sputum Test – Sputum is collected in a
special cup or a swab is used to take a
sample from nose.
• Blood test – A blood sample is taken from a
vein in the arm.
Treatment for COVID - 19
• To date, there are no specific vaccines or
medicines for COVID-19.
• Around 80% of infected persons recover
without any need to seek care.
• Older people, people with Diabetes,
Hypertension, Heart disease are at
increased risk for more severe illness
• So, Prevention of Corona by keeping social
distance, hygiene measures and improving
immunity is necessary.

water daily

kefir, miso, etc

• Boil all the herbs in 200 ml of milk
