The Munkebo multiple type
abrasive cleaning units have
been designed and built to
clean the various reusable
abrasive types in the market.
The standard Munkebo clean-
ing unit is a high production
unit with a capacity of up to
30 tonnes/hour total through-
put, producing high quality
reusable abrasive through a
system of screening and air
wash separation.
Although the unit is suitable
for all known reusable abra-
sives, it is easy to operate.
abrasive cleaning units are
ideal for all operations where
the abrasive media can be
recovered after blasting. The
exception is wet material,
which cannot be processed.
The cleaning unit requires a
ventilation airflow, which
either can be taken from the
room ventilation or ideally
from a separate dust collec-
tor, designed for this applica-
tion, as the dust load can be
excessive.
