1.) How were friendship and loyalty shown in "The Knight's Tale"?

 The friendship and loyalty is shown by how the tale began and
how it end, the knights respect and honor their oath to one
another being a honorable Knight of their beloved king and how
their friendship stay for a long period of time , especially in the
time of suffering but then it ends with a notable respect to the
one who won the fight after they fell in love with the same
woman that cause tragic ending to one of the knight. They also
show loyalty by accepting the fate that their God and goddess
have given to them even they desire different results.

2.) The Miller's Tale was presumed an open-ended story. If you were
John, what action would you do, finding out that your wife was
cheating on you?

 I'm going to let them face their consequences for their actions
and after that , I will let them go because maybe we aren't
meant to be with each other and she might be bound to be with
him and our separation would lessen my pain ,hatred and avoid
hurting each other because of what they have done to me.
3.) Why do you think Chaucer wrote stories like "The Pardoner's Tale"
that ridicules the excesses and fraud of the Church?

 He might seen the real act of the church leaders during his time
that it inspired him to open the eyes of those who are
experiencing the unjust practice of the church, especially those
innocent followers that still patronizing them even they are those
who are less fortunate .

4.) What is the most significant lesson you've learned from "The Wife
of Bath's Tale"?

 The most significant lesson that I have gain from the wife of Bath
is that there is a allotted power to women even they are not seen
as a equal to men .Men often depend their judgement from how
the women sees the situation and give justifiable solution for the
problem, women are known for having broad knowledge and
should never belittle by men just because of their appearances
and weaknesses.
