10 L & 13 L engine with a u‐tube H2O (water)
manometer.
1. 13 L engine ‐ Remove the pipe plug (1/4 in. NPT) from the engine
rear gear case, located at the upper rear, left side (viewed from
the operators seat)
10 L engine – Drill and tap the removable cap on the top of the
valve cover for a fitting.
2. Install fitting into the gear case cover or cap attached to a u‐tube
H2O manometer
3. Run the engine to operating temperature
4. Operate the engine at rated speed.
5. Apply load to the engine during the manometer test if possible.
6. The maximum limit for crankcase pressure under any condition is
32 in. H2O
