Essay “Daydreaming is a way of escaping the reality ”

People can daydream to walk away from reality because it is a comfortable

place to be. Some people use daydreaming to visualize themselves succeeding in
something, others use it to run away from current problems, to find peace, to
become depleted, to feel the fiddling life with some pleasure. Sometimes reveries
induce us to work hard and this the positive impact of daydreaming.

In the text “Take the witness” the man tried to escape his boring, full of
monotonous work life. The reveries relating to his successful comebacks to an
imaginary cross-examiner only adjourn his real life. There is a sheer
transformation from the modest, shy man into the cocky, fresh witness so that his
adversary will never elicit any extra information. The man feels comfortable
while daydreaming as he is immune from any responsibility for his extremely pat
words. I’m sure in real life that could be a pretty kettle of fish!

To conclude It’s vital to mention the importance of living in the present

moment of life. Yes, undoubtedly, dreams - are a part of our life, and sometimes
they give us motivation for further development. Otherwise it may lead to not very
pleasant consequences.

Daydreaming is not a way of escaping the reality. As sooner or later you

have to wake up & face it!
