Work Experience
2019-present, ELD Instructional Aide, Vista Charter Middle School
Tasks include designing and developing curriculum for ELD support groups, analyzing student
reading level data and creating lesson plans to supplement and increase students’ Lexile levels.
Support sixth, seventh, and eight grade student groups, as well as provide tutoring for students
after school. Facilitate group discussions regarding topics relevant to students’ academic and
socio-emotional experiences (Way of Council). Administer and proctor the English Language
Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) and Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA)
exams to English Learner student subgroups.

2016-2018, Instructional Aide, English and Social Studies, Vista Charter Middle School
Tasks included assisting teachers through collaboration and lesson planning. Held intervention
for student newcomers, teaching them introductory English and provided translation for
Spanish-speaking students. Held intervention for students in need of ELA support. Created
lesson plans and activities for student intervention groups. Reviewed data with teachers and
administration in order to determine next steps for supporting student learning. Facilitate group

Tasks included answering phones, answering questions, providing information and resolving
possible issues for customers. Job includes working closely and supporting our Order, Sales,
Finance and Marketing departments, as well as companies such as UPS, serving as a liaison
between the company and customers. Communicate with customers via phone and email.
Distribute emails to fellow representatives, as well as continue to monitor and manage the social
media sites for the Company. Responsibilities also include drafting written responses for
customers via email and social media.

program/event information onto UCLA "Happenings" website, composing/sending emails to
students and faculty, setting up for and assisting during events, escorting guest speakers and
performers to proper locations, compiling and mailing exhibition tour confirmation packets.
