as a Social Studies teacher. He was my student in Secondary Methods II, the final
class before student teaching. I observed him in all facets of classroom instruction,
including lesson planning, delivery, assessment, classroom management and
classroom discipline. He was effective in all areas, and refined his skills remarkably
during the semester.

The lessons that he developed were creative and incorporated academic standards,
effective instructional strategies and motivational techniques.

Cody’s achievement in my class is especially commendable given his busy slate of

work and activities. He managed to work full time while completing the coursework
for certification.
Cody is passionate about developing his craft as an educator, seeking input and
using that input to enhance his lessons. He is the epitome of professionalism in
appearance and actions. He is always early for class, and always has his work
submitted in a timely fashion.
