How To Burn a Data Disc with Nero Express

Nero Express is often the program of choice for those looking to burn or write files to a disc. The program
has a very simplified user interface, allowing users to easily create multimedia and data discs. In addition,
users can also create and print labels for the disc, rename discs, and even choose to replicate the disc as
many times as needed.

How To Burn a Data CD Using Nero Express


If you do not yet have Nero Express installed on your computer, you may download it from the company's
official website. Once installed, insert a blank CD or DVD into your computer. Open Nero Express by
clicking Start > All Programs > Nero > Nero 10 > Nero Express. In the main window (LHS), select Data
compilation. In the right pane, select the type of disk you would like to record. Now go to your Disc Content
window, and click the Add button. Select the folders and files you would like to record. You can repeat the
process as many times as needed until all folders and files have been selected. When finished with your
selection, click on Close. All the folders and files you have selected will be displayed in the disc content
window. You will also be able to note the amount of space available on your disk. Now, click on Next. In
the window labelled Disc Label, you can create a label for your CD or DVD. If you do not want to do so,
simply uncheck the Print Label box and click Next. You will now see the Final Burn Settings. Select your
current recorder, which is the drive that contains the blank CD or DVD. Add a disc name. Select the
number of copies you would like to make. Check the data verification feature before clicking on the Burn
button to start burning your disc.
