Title: ATTITUDE IN GIVING – Luke 14:28-30

1 Cor.9:10-14
Introduction: In these verses of scriptures, Jesus is teaching the importance of planning before taking
action.

What is a plan? “plan” as a “method or arrangement, an aim or project”. Isu nga iti panangted

If you claim that we are worshipper, we must plan to give to whom we worship. Ex. Matt. 2:2-12
They planned to give gifts.

TYPES OF GIVING:
-Tithes: Mal. 3:10 (Israel)
-Offering: 2 Cor. 9:7 ex. Cornelius

ATTITUDES IN GIVING:
1. Cheerfully- 2Cor.9:7
2. Willingly -2Cor.8:12”For if there be first a willing mind.
3. According to the blessing of the Lord “Daniel. 16:17”
4. According to the ability -ACTS 11:29. “ Every man according to his ability determined to send
relief unto the brethren”
5. Regularly- 1 cor. 16:2
Upon the first day of the week, let everyone of you lay by himself in store as God hath
prospered him
6. Liberally- 2 Cor. 8:2
7. Sacrificially- 2 Cor. 8:3
8. Secretly- Mat. 6:1-4
9. By Equality- 2Cor. 8:14,15
10. With a perfect heart- 1 Chro. 29:9
If we have this kind of attitudes then blessing of giving comes.
1) Acts 20:35 “ It is more blessed to give than to receive.
2) Luke 6:38. Give and it shall be given unto you.
3) 2Cor. 9:6. “ He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth
bountifully shall reap bountifully”.

5) Deut. 28:2-14
