Sosialisation in the world of society

The three words or terms internalization, learning, and specialization basically have almost the same
meaning. The process is the same, namely through social interaction. The term internalization is
more emphasized on individual norms that internationalize these norms, or the process of societal
norms that does not stop at the institutional level, but these norms are ingrained in the souls of
community members. These norms can be divided into two, namely norms that govern personal
(including norms of trust and morality) and norms that regulate personal relationships (including
rules of decency and rules of law).

The term learning emphasizes changes in behavior, which previously was not owned by an
individual, or changes in attitude from not knowing to knowing, where learning can take place in the
environment or in educational institutions.

The term specialization emphasizes the specificity that an individual has or measures, the specificity
arises through a rather long and long process.

The socialization process actually comes from within the family. The process of socializing the
younger generation is a process that greatly determines the ability of youth to align themselves in
the midst of their community life. Therefore, at the stages of development and development,
through the process of maturing himself and learning on various socialization media in society, a
young man must be able to select various possibilities so that he can control himself in his life in the
midst of society, and still have social motivation. tall one.

Through the socialization process, individuals (youth) will be colored with their way of thinking and
their habits of life with the socialization process, individuals will know how they should behave in the
midst of society and their cultural environment. A person's personality through the process of
socialization can be formed where the personality is a component of the giver or the cause of the
color of the form of human social behavior, so in this case, socialization is a process of learning
culture from community members in relation to the social system. In this process an individual from
childhood to adulthood learns patterns of action in various interactions or the kinds of social roles
that may exist in everyday life.

Every individual in a different society experiences different socialization processes, because the
socialization process is largely determined by the cultural composition and social environment
concerned. So socialization focuses on individual questions in groups through education and
development. Therefore, the socialization process gives birth to a person's self and personality
towards oneself and sees the existence of other people's personalities outside of himself.

This socialization process means it doesn't stop with the family, but there are other institutions.
Cohen (1983) states that the most important socialization institutions are family, school, peer
groups, and the mass media. Thus socialization can take place formally and informally. Formally, the
socialization process is more orderly and systematic and is equipped with a firm set of norms and
must be obeyed by each individual. This socialization process is carried out consciously and
deliberately. Whereas informally, this socialization process is accidental, this happens when an
individual learns patterns of skills, norms or behavior through informal observations of other
people's interactions.
Although the socialization may vary in various institutions, groups and communities, the objectives
of the socialization itself have many similarities.

THE SOCIAL ROLE OF STUDENTS AND YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY

During the 1990s to 2000s demonstrations were still rife in various places. At that time students and
youth identified themselves as the Moral Movement. Meanwhile, for other students the student
movement identified itself as a Political Movement. Students are broken and sometimes pragmatic.
It is no longer an open secret that students are paid to demonstrate.

Before looking too far into the role of students outside the campus - even though it's a cliche - we
should remember that the main task of students and youth is learning at school / campus.

The social roles of students and youth in society are more or less the same as the roles of other
citizens in society. Students get a special place because they are considered intellectuals who are
currently studying. In time, when students graduate from college, they will look for work and lead a
relatively similar life with other residents.

It has been more than 60 years since the Indonesian nation became independent, the education
system has been reformed to be able to respond to various changes around human life. But after the
lecture, the unemployed line up. The high unemployed and half-unemployed are a waste of
resources, they are a burden to families and communities, a major source of poverty that can lead to
increased social and criminal unrest and hinder development in the long run.

underemployment among the younger generation and resulting in reduced national productivity and

among the younger generation, is caused by low purchasing power and lack of attention to nutrition

subject of development. Youth organizations that have been running well are potentials that are
ready to be involved in national development activities.

and creativity, namely the ability and willingness to make changes, reforms, and refinement of
existing deficiencies or even put forward new ideas / alternatives.

calculations and skills of the young generation will give good quality to the courage to take risks.

attitude of independence needs to be complemented by an awareness of pure discipline in itself, so
that they can realize reasonable limits and have tolerance.

sense and in a qualitative sense the younger generation is relatively more educated because there
are more opportunities for learning than the earlier generations.
