Who invented eyeglasses? So it is Salvino D' Armate.

He is often credited
with inventing the first recognized pair of eyeglasses around 1285 in Italy, but there is
no evidence to conclude this. . however it has been shown that this claim was a hoax,
and that there was no member of the Armati family with that name at the time The
earliest lenses were produced from quartz and were usually mounted on frames of
bone, metal or leather. While Salvino he invent a glasses na convex lenses that were
used to correct hyperopia or (farsightedness) and could be used to correct presbyopia
which often came with age.
So later I’m going to discuss about hyperopia and presbyopia. So in the next slide my
partner will discuss on the evolution of eyeglasses.
In this slide we will talk about different type of eyeglasses and vision problems. So first
lets go to different type of eyeglasses. So there are 3 type of eyeglasses. The first one
is
 High index. These type of lenses kay they use a thinner material to correct
vision. This can make eyeglasses more comfortable since they will be lighter compare
sa uban lenses.
 Progressive. These lenses work on two or more vision problems. These will
allows you to do, close up work like reading a book, middle distance work like checking
out a website on a computer or distance viewing like driving without need to change
your glasses they’re sometimes called multifocal lenses.
So the last type of eyeglasses is
 Transitions. I think kita namo ani and familiar mo. These type of lenses kay mao
ni siya tong mudulom if mainitan murag siyag sunglasses. These lenses change color
based on the light.

So next let’s talk about refractive errors, the most common kind of vision problems that
lead people to wear glasses. So the first common kind of vision problem is
Nearsightedness (myopia) is a common vision condition in which you can see objects
near to you clearly, but objects farther away are blurry. In which imong paglantaw ana
kay ang mga nga nearby objects kay visible and faraway object are out of focus and
difficult to see.
So next is
Farsightedness (hyperopia) is a common vision condition in which you can see distant
objects clearly, but objects nearby may be blurry. So opposite ni siya sa myopia. The
degree of your farsightedness influence your focusing ability. In short. You are able to
see things that are far away but trouble seeing things that are up close.
Astigmatism is a common and generally treatable imperfection in the curvature of your
eye that causes blurred distance and near vision. So mao ni siya tong dili equal ang
grade saimong mata like for example imohang left eye ang grade kay -1.50 and imong
right eye is -1.25.
So the last common kind of vision problem is
Presbyopia is physiological insufficiency of accommodation associated with the aging
of the eye that results in progressively worsening ability to focus clearly on close
objects. Ang symptoms ani kay ga include difficulty reading small print, having to hold
reading material farther away, headaches, and eyestrain.
In short, it causes people’s eyes to have difficulty focusing on near objects quickly. It
naturally affects everyone’s eyes as people age.
So in the next slide ezra with h will discuss about google glass.
