Nouns and adjectives
Work with a partner. Take turns to put down a word card. For example: Student A puts down a word card and
Student B says the noun or adjective and then makes a sentence. For example, Student A says ‘danger’ and
Student B says ‘Dangerous. Stunt doubles do dangerous things.’

Present perfect v past simple
1a Read your profile. Ask and answer questions to find someone with the same stunt double as you.
Use the present perfect and the past simple.
• Has he ever jumped off a bridge? • When did he do it?

b When you have found your partner, ask your teacher what your stunt double’s name is. Write his name
on your profile. Work in a group (different stunt doubles), discuss which stunt double is the best and why.
Compare your ideas with the class.
