King James as a Role Model

Lebron James was born in on December 30, 1984, Akron, Ohio, U.S. He is a

professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. He has

also played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and for the Miami Heat. His height is 2.06 meters

and his talent, versatility and strength permit him to play consistently in every position in

the court. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest basketball players in NBA

history. He has several Sports Merits in which I can’t highlight the following ones, he has

won 3 NBA championships, 4 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, 3 Finals MVP

Awards and 2 Olympic gold medals.

Due to his talent, is efficiency, his strength, his work ethic, his consistency, his

intelligence, and his playstyle he has gained with a lot effort to be considered one of the

best whoever touched the basketball. But also, in 2004, LeBron's mission to change the

world began as he established The LeBron James Family Foundation with the objective of

positively affect the lives of children and teenagers through education and curricular

educational initiatives and programs. They serve education and an active and healthy

lifestyle in order to have a positive impact in these kids from Akron. Lebron relocated the

Foundation's efforts on the life-changing power of education and established the I

PROMISE Program. Taking on a new class of Akron Public School 3rd graders each year.

It provides the resources, incentives, and academic support. Through its I PROMISE

Program, the foundation serves more than 1,400 Akron-area students. On July 30, 2018, the

I PROMISE School opened its doors for an historic first day of school for its inaugural

class of 240 I PROMISE students.

 However, people still compare him with Michael Jordan because both are basketball

legends. This discussion is about who is better between both of them. They compare both

of these legends by their mentality, playstyle, score percentage, championship titles, points

scored and much other reasons. But it’s unfair to compare these two legends because both

of them dominated the game in different basketball eras, they never played against each

other. We can only say that both Lebron and Jordan have earned all their greatness. Also,

some people might talk that he created this foundations and programs to be well looked by

the media and society. Some people that dislike some famous people are known as haters,

as every celebrity or Lebron has haters, this people argue about him creating these

programs because he wanted to attract the media and gain more followers. Even though, we

can’t deny that everything he’s done for his hometown is something to be proud of, its

simply amazing how much he loves his hometown and his people.

Even though LeBron James is in the greatness one of his quotes which says “Strive

for Greatness” he is constantly trying to improve not only as an athlete but as a good person

who cares for his society. When can expect several things for this excellent human being,

he always wants the best for himself and for others who surrounds him. “Any chance I get,

you’ll hear me say it loud and proud: I’m just a kid from Akron. And I say that because of

the roots, the support, and the love my city has always given me. From my earliest days

growing up in those streets, the community wrapped its arms around me. My mom and I

had our challenges, but the people I was lucky to have around me would not let me fail. I

want to do everything I can to be that for my kids in Akron coming up behind me who have

incredible futures ahead of them.” This quote completes the trial which demonstrates that
LeBron James is not only an excellent, probably the best basketball player in history, but a

human being who is full of humility, kindness, docility, and love.
