Check the serial plate to determine what engine is in your machine.

The engine serial number plate is

located towards the rear of the left
hand side of the cylinder block.

CAT dealers require all of these

numbers in order to determine the Engine Serial Number
components that were included with
the engine. The full serial number CJG 1 – UP (C3.4B)
permits accurate identification of the
replacement part numbers. 4441 – UP (C4.4 Tier III)

W23 1 – UP (C4.4 Tier III Wuxi)
