Artery (sing/noun), arteriole, ateri/o, arter (root), arteries (pl) = thick walled
arteries (arteri/o vs arthr/o (joint) vs orth/o)
Eg. Arteriosclerosis, arteriostenosis, arterial hypertension, arteriosclerotic heart
disease (AHD), arteriolitis, etc.
