What is SAP Fiori?

SAP Fiori realizes the concept of a uniform, cross-system, and role-

specific user interface for end users. The SAP Fiori Launchpad offers
users a collection of exactly the apps they need in their day-to-day
business. SAP Fiori is also independent of the type of device and can
be used on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The apps are created
based on the rules of the SAP User Experience.

SAP Fiori Dimensions

The three dimensions, in which SAP Fiori is defined, are Design,

The RENEW part of the SAP UX strategy consists mainly of SAP Fiori
apps. Classical ABAP transactions are taken and decomposed in
several small apps connected via navigation paths. This offers a new
way to consume data of and to interact with ABAP systems, which is
more flexible in terms of a task-oriented view. A preview of Fiori apps
is available in the SAP Fiori Demo Cloud and the technical details and
prerequisites of all available Fiori apps are available in the SAP Fiori
apps reference library.is.
