Brief History
the Department of Labor and Employment of the Philippines. It protects the interests
of Overseas Filipino Workers and their families, providing social security, cultural services and
annual contribution from overseas workers and their employers. The agency was founded in
1977 as the Welfare and Training Fund for Overseas Workers. Its head office is at F.B.
Harrison Street corner 7th Street in Pasay City, near EDSA Extension, Philippines.
Vision
OWWA is the lead membership welfare institution that serves the interest and welfare of
member OFWs.
Mission
OWWA develops and implements responsive programs and services while ensuring fund
viability towards the protection of the interest and promotion of the welfare of its member-
OFWs.
Mandate
● Develops and implements responsive welfare programs and services for OFWs and
families; and
● Protect the interest and promote the welfare of OFWs in recognition of their valuable

Me and my co-trainees started the our OJT duty on February 03, 2020 at the OWWA -
BARMM Diana S. Ibrahim, Justine B.Camaganacan, Norhidaya M. Noor and I we are assigned
in accounting area. Norhana A. Pasawiran and IC Dominic Torreto is assigned in service area in

I have accomplished 29 days as an intern with a total of 231 hours out of 240 total duty
hours. We need to comply 8 duty hours to have 240 total hours with the anticipate date on March
16, 2020, we did not accomplish the 240 hours of duty because of the situation of our country
which is COVID-19.

should monitor the interns and teach them a lesson or give feedback in a proper manner to their

always thought that we do our task very well and on our Daily report the feedback is really worth
it in everyday task that we do, we know we do our task everyday well that’s why the feedback of
them have initiative, doing task very well, very good, perform responsible. I think they will thank
