Question 1. What are the unique features of E-commerce, Digital markets, and Digital
goods? Discuss the principal of e-commerce business and revenue models?
Digital goods are shipped electronically to the consumer through email or download from the
internet, so they are goods that can be delivered over a digital network and including music,
video, software, newspapers, magazines, and books.
Digital market provides many opportunities to sell directly to the consumers, by passing in
terms diaries, such as distributors or retail outlets. Other features include layer gratification,
price discrimination, market segmentation, switching costs, and network effects.
Portals offer the customer many Web search tools along with packages that contain
content and services such as e-mail, messaging, maps, news, calendars, shopping,
audio and video content, etc.
E-tailers allow customers to make purchases online through the Internet rather than
going to a physical store.

Content providers distribute the intellectual property of others through the Internet
in the form of video, music, photos, text, and artwork.
Transaction brokers process consumer transactions online rather than in person, by
phone, or by mail.
Market creators provide a place where merchant and consumer can meet to display
products and services, search for certain products, and determine the price of the

The internet has survived a huge surge in traffic during the global coronavirus pandemic is
that the infrastructure that makes up its backbone was designed to survive just such an
emergency.
In the face of a rapid world-wide traffic explosion from private, public and government
entities requiring employees to work from home to help curb the spread of the coronavirus,
some experts were concerned the bandwidth onslaught might bring the internet to its knees.
All indications are that while there have been hot spots, the internet infrastructure has held its
own so far – a silver lining of sorts in dreadful situation.
Yes, Covid-19 changing the internet. Due to Covid-19 peoples are using internet for every
purpose.

The manufacturing and use of smartphones has increased over the years and will most likely
become a necessity as technology advances.
Reasons why smartphones will become the single most important digital device people
own:
Smartphones have important capabilities such as wireless Internet access, e-mail, text
messaging, and voice communication.
They also allow data, audio, and video sharing that can be very helpful when
communicating and collaborating with other employees.
This is basically the same range of capabilities that desktops provide except that
individuals can use them anywhere and anytime.
The strength of the hardware and software capabilities also continues to become more
advanced.
Smartphones will enable better customer relations because of the ability to use the
features at a moment’s notice.

The COVID-19 crisis is confronting companies with a large number of challenges over a
short term. In order to maintain productivity, a quick adoption of remote working is a must.
