Part a:

Part b:

1. It was truly a unique way to capture Nadia. He had taken only 18 men with him so that people
do not suspect that they came with the intention of capturing Nadia. Then he went with the city
dwellers who were deceived to think they could profit from khalji. As a result they were able to
enter the palace and was able to capture it fast as it was a surpriuce to the current ruler. In the
meanwhile, khalji’s army raided the city so that there is no way the palace is defendd by the
army as it would take time to communicate to form the army. It also resulted in the current
ruler to evacuate the place.
2. Dharmapala had some important contribution that needs to be considered to see if he was one
of the important pala ruler. He was the real founder of the pala dynasty because he greatly
expanded the boundaries of the empire, and made the Palas a dominant power in the northern
and eastern Bengal. He was a great supporter of budhhism meaning that he had implemented
peace in his ruling style which had benefitted the common people a lot. He had formed many
learning institutions such as vikramshila which means within his rule the learning of people
prospered. Within his rule architectural growth also occurred as many monuments were made
uring the period . This is why I think he was also an important ruler.

Part c:

The contributions of the Sufis were the most important as they had reduces the religious loathing,
fanacticism and fundamentalism any everyone. The learning under their influence prospered. Under
them Literature had also prospered. They had opposed orthodox muslims. They had introduced
different orders in Bengal. On the other hand, during illias shahi dynasty they focused maily on
increasing territory under them.
