CHILD RIGHT
The United Nations Convention
on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is a
legally-binding international agreement
setting out the civil, political, economic,
social and cultural rights of every child,
regardless of their race, religion or
abilities.

Survival rights: include the child'


right to life and the needs that are most
basic to existence, such as nutrition,
shelter, an adequate living standard, an
access to medical services.

violence. ... That right is underpinned by the
UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the
Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children,
and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Participation Children have the right
to participate in communities and have
programs and services for themselves. This
includes children's involvement in libraries
and community programs, youth voice
activities, and involving children as
decision-makers.
