Short Description of Course The focus of this course is on full filling the health and safety needs of nurses while providing nursing care for client
and patient safety. An important aspect that must be considered is regulating the nursing service environment in
providing nursing care that is safe from hazards and health risks in the workplace both inside and outside the building,
as well as patient safety. The basic concept of occupational health is applied in every stage of the nursing process from
assessment to evaluation. The discussion emphasizes efforts to recognize hazards, risks and various efforts to
minimize them at each stage of the nursing process.
