GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:


Goal: The family will recognize the threat of possible complications in pregnancy
and the importance of consistent pre-natal check-ups.
Short-term: After 60 minutes of health teaching the family will be able to
recognize the threat and hazards that could lead to possible complications in
pregnancy.
Medium-term: After 1 week of nursing interventions, all pregnant member/s will
be able to go to health care centers to have regular pre-natal check-up and pre-natal
care.
Long-term: After 1 month of nursing interventions and health teaching, all
members will carry out necessary measures to prevent possible complications to
the pregnant member.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:


Goal: The family will manage schistosomiasis as a disease and threat in the
household and community.
Short-term: After 60 minutes of health teaching, the family will be able to
determine needed information for the schistosomiasis infection such as its vector,
cause, signs and symptoms, and preventive measures.
Medium-term: After 1 week of nursing interventions, all members will be able to
have regular medical check-up and diagnostic procedures to monitor the presence
of schistosomiasis infection.
Long-term: After 1 month, all members will be able to carry out necessary
preventive schistosomiasis control measures.
