    Objective: Learn about wireless information and resources available through WLANA.

    Description: The wireless LAN Association (WLANA) provides examples of situation in which wireless
    LANs might be deployed, along with many other sources of information about wireless LANs. In this
    activity, you visit the WLANA Web site to view what resources are available through WLANA, and you
    view the sample situations in which to use wireless LANs.

    1. Open a web browser and point the browser to www.wlana.com


    2. Click on Learning Center Menu.
    3. Look for WLAN background Info
     State of the WLAN industry
     What is a wireless LAN?
     WLAN Application
     WLAN Standards and Organizations
    4. In a clean sheet of paper, write down how you understand wireless LANs.
    5. WLANA also provides links to employment opportunities together with their member
    companies. (pls click industry Opportunities menu)
    6. In a separate sheet of paper, please write down list of companies who are members of WLANA,
    also provide a brief introduction of each companies.
