EDUCCORP PRODUCT DESIGN

A. E-FLUENCER (draft)

E-FLUENCER is the first product as far as the ESP aspect is concerned. It is designed to pave the way
for any private individual desiring to fluently speak English. Therefore, its implementation entails six
main steps including:

 Client Concentration (CC)

 Syllabus Designing
 Teaching Process
 Learning Process
 Learning Assessment
 Follow-up

1. Client Concentration (CC)

The first stage of implementation of E-fluency regards the CC. In fact we have deemed wise to put
the focus on the client in order to pinpoint his/her needs, his/her language level and then his/her
personality. In other words, the CC is the analysis of three main aspects which are the following:

 Needs Analysis (NA)

 Language Level Analysis (LA)
 Personality Analysis (PA)(specificity)

These steps are of an utmost importance and thus compulsory since they provide valuable
information from which the syllabus is designed.

PN: Instead of entitling this stage Needs Analysis I suggest to call it Client Concentration. In fact, what
is usually done, as pre-session procedures, are checking the needs of the client and his/her level,
leaving out the personality check, which can be a determining factor for the rest of the process. This
title fits the strategy because “concentration” means at the same time the fact of focusing on
something (specialization or needs) and the fact of focusing on someone (level and personality)

2. Syllabus Designing

The syllabus reflects the needs, language level and personality of the learner. To set it up, three
parties are needed: Educorp, the teaching stuff and the learner.

3. Teaching Process

The teaching process entails 5 stages including:

 Listening Comprehension
 Pronunciation
 Role-play
 Reading
 Writing

The above-mentioned steps are to be followed by teachers in order to allow an effective knowledge
acquisition. (Specificity)
4. Learning Process

The learning process may have something to do with the teaching process but there is still a
difference since this process is a participatory approach. In fact, the learner has a role to play. This
process uses activities that engage the learner to carry out research or do some tasks or follow-up
activities that will strengthen the Teaching Process. In short the learning process is centred on the
learners. Here are some aspects on which the learning process hinges:

 Physical Environment
 Virtual Environment or Digital Learning through the use of technology

5. Learning Assessment

Knowledge acquisition is assessed through two main aspects including:

 In-class assessment for the Teaching Process

 Out-of-class assessment for the Learning Process

6. Follow-up

Follow-up activities are compulsory in order to ensure the sustainability of the acquired knowledge.
Therefore, the learner can keep on practicing through various opportunities like:

 SPEAK English club

 Library
 Community activities
 Internship
