Strong communication skills are vital and crucial for an effective legal communication
and successful, rewarding practice. The subject focus primarily on developing
irreproachable communication skills by teaching students the art of verbal

skills will let the students express themselves with more confidence and clarity. The

students will learn to analyze a problem, research the relevant law, prepare written
submissions, and present oral argument. The course helps to cultivate and refine the public
speaking skills of the students, leading to persuasive advocacy. The activities also include
legal counselling which would involve analyzing a set of facts and advising a person to
take a specific course of action based on the applicable law thereby Improving and
developing research orientation and legal acumen of the students. Students are expected to
come mentally prepared for the concerned session’s contents in advance before coming to
the class. The session will be made interactive through active participation from students.
