Anti-Bullying week 11th-15th November
Projects involving students:

 Posters and Visual Displays: Students can create different posters and visual
displays to promote empathy, respect, kindness and helpfulness.
 Younger classes presentations: Each 3 students can create short presentation 5-
10’(using PowerPoint, videos, songs) to promote good citizen behavior and empathy
to the younger classes (2/3 kids per class)
 Non-profit merchandise: 3 groups of students can design logos, slogans and positive
messages that can be printed on hats, tote bags, t-shirts. These items can be sold on
the school’s website and facebook page and the money saved can be donated to any
NGO that is involved with anti-bullying. (some students are familiar with the idea
because we have discussed it during jeans for genes day, and were enthusiastic about
it)
 Short film: Middle school kids can create their own anti-bullying or pro-empathy
short film collectively. The videos can be pledges of kindness, or can be a short
narrative of their own creation.
 Shout Out Box: Start
having an in-class (shout
out) box. Each student by
the end of the day writes a
small note about another
student with a positive
message on it. The
messages are not to be
signed, and by the end of
each two weeks, the
messages to be displayed
on the wall for everyone to
read them (messages need
to be checked and verified
by the teacher before
displaying them). The
display should continue
growing until the end of the
year. Please check the
picture example below.
