Learning activity 1

Evidence: Not so different in the end

For this evidence, you have to go online and find reliable information (scientific
journals, scientific magazines, etc.) about the similarities between men and
women. With the information you gather, you have to create a presentation
describing the similarities you found. The presentation can be done in Microsoft
PowerPoint or any tool of your choice and should have at least seven 7 slides.
Each slide should include a short explanation of what is being presented.

Remember to use the conjunctions (so, neither, either) you learned in this
learning activity. Below you will see an example of a slide with its corresponding
script:

Generally speaking, people believe women are not good at math. However,
there is no research that proves that this is true. Women have proven to be as
talented as men in this area. As a result of stereotyped thinking, mathematically
talented girls may be ignored by their parents and forced to study more
"feminine" subjects. Research has proven that a child's success in math
depends on self-confidence and commitment, not on gender.
