Guidelines/ Instructions for Admission 2020

Applications for admission to the Undergraduate Classes are invited from 23-09-2020 to
09-10-2020.

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION

1. ONLINE Admission Forms can be filled and submitted at www.gcuonline.pk.
Processing fee of Rs. 1500/- for online application shall be submitted to any branch
of HBL across Pakistan.
2. After submission of the processing fee, the candidate must upload copy of the paid
challan at their admission portal/ account.
3. Candidates shall take the printouts of the filled online form and can submit (i) by
hand OR (ii) sent through courier/ postal service to the “Admission Office, GC
University Lahore”
4. The last date for submission of Application Forms is Friday,
09-10-2020 (during banking hours).
5. Candidates applying for more than one category/ group shall submit a separate
admission form for each category/ group.
6. If a student submits a fake or forged document at the time of admission and is
proven guilty at any stage during his/ her study, his/ her admission shall be
cancelled. The University reserves the right to take legal action against such a
student.
7. The applicant is required to mention his/her name and father/guardian’s name as
per the Matriculation certificate.
8. It is mandatory to attach all the supporting documents related to Sports, Co-
Curricular Activities and Special Category is compulsory to attach with the
Admission Form.
9. Merit lists and other announcements will be available on GCU website:
www.gcu.edu.pk and facebook/gcu.edu.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
10. Candidate must attach the following documents with the Admission Form taken from
ONLINE:

iii. Attested copy of Matriculation/ O-Level Certificate 01
iv. Attested copy of Character Certificate from the last Institution attended 01
v. Attested copy of Student’s CNIC/ B-Form 01
vi. Attested copy of Father/ Guardian’s CNIC 01
11. For Overseas Pakistanis: Please attach the following documents in addition to the
above requirements mentioned at Sr. 10 (For Non-English Speaking countries, the
translation of all the following documents is required in the English language) :-
a. Employment certificate or proof of business, residential status in the foreign
country of the parents.
b. Copy of valid visa & passport
c. Supporting documents e.g., Social Security Certificate, Medical Card, Driving
License, Tax payment receipts and any other legal proof of residence.

12. Candidates, applying on the basis of Minority are required to provide proof of
Minority and it must be attached with the admission form.
13. The disabled candidates shall attach the "Disability Certificate" with their
admission form, obtained from the Social Welfare and Bait-Ul-Maal Department.
14. Candidates belonging to AJK & Northern Areas are required to submit their
application for nomination with residence certificate to Secretary Nominations Board
Govt. of AJK Muzaffarabad & Northern Areas, Gilgit through the Secretary
Nomination Board Northern Areas Gilgit till the last date for the submission of
application. Such candidates must have passed Intermediate from their own
province/area.
15. Candidates belonging to FATA are required to submit their application form for
nomination through State & F.R Division Islamabad to the University till the last
date for the submission of application. Such candidates must have passed
Intermediate from a school located in FATA.
16. Foreign Students are required to send their applications through Ministry of
Education Islamabad to the University till the last date for the submission of
application.
17. An applicant from other than Punjab Province is required to submit his/ her
documents for nomination alongwith the domicile certificate from the Province
concerned to the University till the last date for the submission of application and
write “Other Province” on the top right corner of the Admission Form. Such
candidates must have passed Intermediate from their own province.
18. Application submitted after the due date or incomplete forms shall not be
entertained/ rejected.
19. The right of admission will be forfeited in case of absence from the interview or non-
submission of dues within the due date.
