1. What are the different theories that explain structure of organization? Briefly discuss
each of them.

School has a system theory that explains the nature on building the organization.
First, the bureaucratic structure which consider the organization as a part of broader
society. The organization is based on the different principle such as structure,
specialization, stability and rationality. On the other hand, administrative theory
composed of how an organization management processed through set of planning and
coordinating the functions. Through a provided theory, school structure has a different
characteristic that defined the school as an effective organization.

2. What are the important aspects of a school leader’s role? How do you think they
contribute to the effective school management?

School leaders should serve the community effectively by possessing innovative

and creativity behavior. They should have the ability to improve the relationship
between diverse people especially for those personalities who think differently. They are
considered as the leader of good institution that makes a learner-centered environment
more productive. The factor that is more often to overlook are having a positive beliefs
and high expectation to student abilities and acquisition on achievement. Effective
leaders should focus on raising expectation for students rather than seeing them in a
low position in the organization.

3. Discuss the leadership styles school leaders may consider.

A leader may have a common characteristic but when it comes to their

leadership styles, they often switch defending to the needs of the members which is a
good way to improve the adaptation level of the leaders. Different school leadership
style makes them more unique as a ruler. Leadership styles includes: Authoritative is
strongest leading style where they lead them towards one direction; Democratic is
requiring a collaborative nature in leadership because they includes the member in
decision-making approach and; Affiliative is a style of a leader that create and build
emotional bonds between the relationship of leader and members. This leadership
styles is mostly considered by the school leaders to make sure to the followers
improvement.
