Because there are Jew square shapes inside a boat, furniture foundations and stowage compartments assume some peculiar geo-
metric shapes. The fine entry lines of both sailboats and powerboats are particularly challen^ng to naval architects, and often-
times unfathomable to the untrained eye. The space that appears to be generous in the accommodation or floor plan may not be
there at all when viewed in cross section. Notice how the V and round shapes of these hulls produce oddly shaped lockers and
